What a great week around the shop, here is just some of the cool stuff we got to work on.

First the classic, a beautiful Raleigh Mountie 20″ with new streamers and basket.  Sweet!

Knurled headset spacers from Velo Orange make a great transition from black to silver on this Long Haul Trucker.  Savory!

More VO on this Tom Teesdale.  Frame handbuilt in West Branch Iowa, we built it up with loads of shiny bits from VO including the hammered fenders, bottle cages, stem, seatpost, and brake levers.  Shimano 10 sp drivetrain and Nitto bars finish it off.  Sweet!

More handbuilt in Iowa, this bike is from the first framebuilding class at the U of I that Teesdale is helping teach.  Dana stopped by to show off his ride that he built himself.  The frame is cool enough, but there are plenty of things to ooh and aah at all over on the build.  Sweet!

And check the detail of the split top tube, the arrow always points the way.  Savory!

More double tube action, this bike was purchased in Denmark and brought back to Iowa City, we got to build it up.  A super cool eye catching bike, look for it around town and get yourself a closer look.  Sweet!

And what about this, we sold our first Bacchetta this week, the Corsa 24.  This bike is awesome, light as a feather and spec’ed to go fast.  Sweet & savory!
