First the pie.

We helped Michael set up his bike for his new business endeavour, check it out!

He rides around and sells pies, hot off the rack, so to speak.

If you see him around yell at him and get yourself a pie, I had the strawberry rhubarb and it was durned fine.

Then the ride.

This weekend is the Amish Harvest Tour to Cure Cancer.

The 2009 Amish Tour to Cure Cancer Bike Ride (the Courage Ride), a splendid and colorful ride through beautiful Amish country in the fall, this year will gather at the Iowa Mennonite School (IMS), the home base for the ride. The site is nestled in the gently rolling hills of Iowa Amish country near Kalona.

Full details on the ride are at the website linked above.  You can still register tomorrow morning so if you are looking for a ride this is a great option.  There is a chance of rain in the morning but hopefully it will hold off, we wish everyone a great ride.

We donated this nice little folding bicycle and a cool quick release basket to be given away to riders, hope you win!
